Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of HALVE — our website, NFC cards, and hosted profile pages. By creating an account or purchasing a card, you agree to them.
1. The service
HALVE provides digital business cards: a hosted profile page that you control, an optional physical NFC card that links to it, and related analytics and wallet features. A free plan is available; some features require a paid plan or a one-time card purchase.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian, to use HALVE.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use HALVE to publish unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the service's security or operation. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these terms.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you publish on your profile. You grant HALVE the limited licence needed to host, display and deliver that content as part of the service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.
5. Orders, payment & shipping
Card purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices include applicable taxes where required. Physical cards are produced and shipped worldwide. Risk passes to you on delivery.
6. Subscriptions & cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal rights apply where required by law.
7. Cancellation & refunds
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on eligible purchases. Personalised or activated NFC cards may be exempt once production has begun. Contact us to request a return or refund.
8. Disclaimers & liability
HALVE is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Termination
You may stop using HALVE and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law.
10. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app, and the “last updated” date will be revised.
