What is an NFC business card?

An NFC business card is a physical card with a chip that opens your digital business card URL when tapped against an iPhone or Android phone. It is a contactless, smart business card that stays up to date because the profile is online.

Is HALVE really free?

Yes. The free plan includes your digital profile, sharing, and analytics basics. Upgrade to Pro when you need higher limits or team features.

Do I need an app to use HALVE?

Neither you nor the person tapping your card needs an app. Profiles open in any modern phone browser.

Can I update my info after my card is printed?

Yes. Your NFC card is a key to your profile. Edit any time and changes go live instantly — no reprogramming.

How does NFC tap actually work?

Modern Android and iPhone phones have an NFC reader built in. Touching them to your HALVE card opens your profile URL automatically. Phones without NFC can still scan the QR code on your card.

NFC business card vs QR code — which is better?

NFC is faster (one tap). QR works on all cameras and is a good backup. HALVE cards support both opening the same digital business card.

Does HALVE work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. HALVE profiles work in Safari, Chrome, and other mobile browsers on iPhone and Android. NFC tap is supported on recent iPhones and most Android devices.

Is HALVE secure and GDPR-friendly?

HALVE is hosted in the EU, IP addresses are hashed before storage, and we do not set tracking cookies on public profiles. GDPR-friendly by design.

What if I lose my NFC card?

Your profile stays online. Order a replacement card and activate it on your account, or share your profile link and QR until it arrives.

Can I have multiple cards linked to one profile?

Yes. You can activate multiple physical NFC cards and point them to the same profile or different pages as your plan allows.

What happens if I cancel my Pro plan?

You keep your account on the free plan. Your profile stays live with free-tier limits. You only lose paid features tied to Pro or Business.

Where do you ship NFC cards?
